Columbia Tomorrow is a joint project of the Missourian, KOMU and the Reynolds Journalism Institute, intended to make it easy for you to stay informed or get up-to-speed about growth-and-development issues in Columbia. Find out more information about how this site works and who’s involved in building it.
I watched your little introduction thing on the main page and I must say that that video could use some work. The video was very shaky and the whole speeding up and occasionally reversing it, just why?!? Don’t even get me starting on zooming, it just shouldn’t be done.
The interviews were spot on though, good job.
In fact, that whole introduction could use a little bit more work.
The grey text on black is very difficult to read and the text that runs down the side on the “how the process works” section is impossible to read due to the vertical placement and the Prezi.com watermark.
Great concept of a website though, it good to see a single place where someone can go to get all this information.
Thanks for the feedback! I agree with some of your comments on the intro. I’ve been thinking we might swap out the whole Prezi. It loads much slower than I’d like, plus there are the issues you mentioned with the watermark.
